Please keep in mind we are reviewing books and movies because we want to share the journey of our personal challenge to broaden our minds. There is no pretense here. We are two people who love to read, but our intent is to keep this blog more relaxed….Casual, if you will. Our rating system also reflects our level of enjoyment of each book or flick.

Acceptable, Satisfying, Could be more complete in one or more area, but able to overlook and enjoy. Able to have an appreciation for story and work
Adequate, Fair, Story or other aspects could use some improvement or changes, but still appealing and has potential
Poor, Troubled, Below average, Missing flow or feels incomplete, plot holes, difficult to overlook and takes away from overall story. Not maintain interest
Dismal, Not recommended, Parts may have even been offensive
